Matt Kaplinsky is an established North Texas artist who has been painting since 1991. Self taught, Matt has applied his love of biology and the environment to the concepts he works out on canvas. Occasionally, one may find subtext in his derivations of natural forms that comment on social and economic situations, or quote one or more of his favorite artists. Matt's inspiration comes from nature and mid-twentieth century contemporary artists.

Matt is also available for commissioned pieces, and specializes in large or oversized paintings.
